Before visiting Izumo Taisha, we stopped by this old station- The Former Taisha Station. A popular tourist destination. Inside the station are historical photos, timetable schedules, mannequins wearing uniforms, ticket machines and old equipments. A steam locomotive stands outside.

Very nicely preserved and maintained. The city is taking good care of old station. The old engine is very elegantly placed .. good visit
