We were taken by friends to visit this Art Museum knowing nothing really about it but after experiencing especially the Raku Kichizaemon exhibition, it was indeed one of the highlights of our trip. We loved it and think about the experience often.

Quite disappointing as drove all the way from Hikone to see the ‘magic’ attractions. Limited displays means we are done in 30 minutes and pretty nothing much more to offer.

Traditional Japanese Tea ceremony goods from Raku Kichizaemon. The collection is the best in Japan. You will not be able to find this much collection in Kyoto either. If you are found of Japanese Tea Ceremony or near Kyoto area, I recommend to visit.
