It's been around for over 300 years and is a special attraction proudly preserved by the people of Nago City. The tree sits in the middle of Ohigashi Street and can't be missed, whether you drive or, are walking. Usually spelled Hinpun Gajimaru or, Gajumaru, it is a banyan tree.
