Katsuu isn't the tallest peak in the region, but it has an open top, so it has a great view of the island and the ocean. The climb was challenging, going straight up hill instead of in switchbacks. "slippery when wet" a beautiful view and good workout! 👍 Make sure to bring plenty of water depending on time of day u go, surely made me sweat!

If you love the outdoors you're going to want to head to Mt Katsuudake. The trail is not a "path" like you might find in other park type areas. I climbed this mountain with three of my friends last weekend. Beware that this isn't the easiest trek on the island but when you reach the top the view is more than worth it.
