Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

finally I can write a fully enthousiast review for an attraction in Yufui; although there is a reason why this is not visited by many people : it is hard to find, hard to get to and does not offer glitter : it is simply a tree, but what a tree. More than 1000 years old, with an bizar history of a fire inside the tree that burned for 2 years, 2 months and 2 days, and the tree survived. Is considered to have gained "power".
Anyway a beautiful, old impressive tree.
I am very happy I could be near it a little while.

If you go to Yufuin, this is one place you should definitely visit. Perhaps because it is a little far from the center, it was a quiet and sacred place when we visited. When you think of Yufuin, you think of popular spots such as Yunotsubo Kaido and Lake Kinrin, but I think this large cedar is worth seeing.
