This is one of the best places to see Nippo-Kaigan Quasi-National Park. There are two lookout points on top of the precepitous cliff that offer a great view of the hexagonal rock columns that make up the cliff and the Pacific Ocean. Looking at the horizon, you can make out the curve of the earth.

The walk to the Cape could be hard for people physically impaired or not used to steep inclines but it is short and definitively worth the effort ! The views are great and note the columnar rock formations similar to the ones found in Ireland...More

Hyuga Cape is amazing. Amazing for the views and for the waves that made all the shapes of the rocks and shore.

So quiet and peaceful to walk through the woods and come out at the end with stunning views of the coast and the incredible rock formations. I took a taxi there from the centre of Hyuga then walked back through the fishing harbour towards the...More

At the end of a walking trail, Cape Hyuga gives a great view of the waves below breaking against the rocks below on both sides of the waterway and sending up sprays of water. There is a long walk from the entrance to the overview...More

The narrow V-shaped gorge was formed by sea wave erosion over centuries. There were 2 spots on the walking trail to view the scenery. I chose the lower one with shorter walking distance which proved to be good enough already

This was along the way when we search for sea cruss. However, we miss this scenery as we did not walk all the way down the trail. We only went upwards and saw the small light tower but the view was already great.
