This is a small campground on the shore of Georgian Bay. Nice swimming but bring water shoes/crocs as the beaches are rocky and not sandy. The footwear will give you grip on the smooth rock and help you walk over the not-so-smooth rocks. Some sites...More

Only camp here if you can get a camp site close to the lake. The rest of them are very open and close together, offering zero privacy. Didn't really notice the hwy noise, but then we were down by the lake so probably far enough...More

Spent 1 night with my 8 year old son. Sites seemed quite small without much privacy and not as maintained as some other parks we have visited. Beach was small and rocky; not really suitable for swimming or small kids. But a day pass to...More

Very loud all night with highway noise. If you want a good sleep then camp at any other park. Too bad the sites were not built further away.

We had a breeze all the time we were there. There were a few bugs but that was around 8-9 pm at night. There were a few flies BUT nothing too major.

We recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment if the park is full. That said, if you arrive and a campsite is available, no advance booking is necessary.
