Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hard to believe that this space exists. Beautiful gardens, and lucky enough to see start of cherry blossoms. Great photograph opportunities and check out the size of the Koi

This park is a nice combination of a rock collection (each rock weighs tons!), a neoclassical Japanese garden, geological museum and nature park all in one package. The setting affords one a glimpse into rural Japan away from the tourist crowd. It is beautiful all year round especially with the cherry blossoms and maples in full splendor. A leisurely stroll around the park is a relaxing experience with many photo opportunities. The walk ends in the beautifully built museum building to look at the owner's mineral and gems collection and a nice hot cup of coffee. The edges of the park are continuously being built and expanded. Because there is currently no public bus service, the park provides a limited shuttle bus service from downtown Hiroshima. Take a taxi from one of the train stations and spend an hour or two of precious solitude in this undiscovered park. Highly recommended!

This garden is quite wonderful and deserves to be far better known than it is. It is a unique piece of art combining a beautifully designed traditional Japanese garden with an amazing collection of rocks and stones so that the two elements bring out the best in each other. It must have taken a lot of money and effort to make this garden a reality. There is also an impressive collection of minerals housed inside the main house. It's well worth the Y700 entrance fee and if you live in the area you can pay Y1000 and visit the garden as many times as you like over the period of a year. There are also tables and benches dotted around the garden so you can enjoy a picnic lunch.
