Words and pictures cannot portray the beauty and serenity of this place. The whole backdrop and view is surreal-- not an electric pole or wire to be seen which is a rarety in Japan!!!!

This temple is famous for it's location that is over a hanging cliff. The platform of the main hall being supported by 139 giant pillars.
