Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On the way to Shogawa Onsen, I visited Yokamachi Street (Zuisenji Temple Monzen-cho), a tourist spot. The well-maintained approach to the temple continues, but since it was a weekday, it was quiet and there were few people around. At the end of the road was Zuisenji Temple. Its official name is "Shinshu Otaniha Inami Betsuin Zuisenji Temple." This place was also quiet and there were no people around, but the solemn mountain gate had an impressive history. It is said to be the birthplace of Inami carving, and the carvings in various places are decorated by Inami carving craftsmen, but the main hall was covered with netting as it was undergoing repairs. I heard that the highlight was the Taishido Hall, which brings together the best of Inami carving, but I wasn't very interested and quickly headed to my next destination.

The whole prefecture made a great job at preserving a traditional aspect but Inami is definitely the best example. I spent hours wandering there and I still love it. The surrounding and the interior of this beautiful temple is unforgettable.

This temple includes great slabs of wood, detailed carved dragons and giant wooden columns. The main hall is supposedly the 4th largest wooden building in Japan.

I visited Zuisen-ji Temple for Omaki Onsen and Shogawa sightseeing.
I enjoyed the delicate Inami carving
Yokamachi-dori is recommended for its tasteful cityscape with a sense of history
