I visited most of the ski slope around Myoko and this place was the best choice. It has a long, wide and not very steep slope. The best thing about this place is that there are less people than the other ski slope in Myoko. A couple of restaurant and rental shop are close to the ski lift. Very good... More

Many different slopes to ski. I loved the forest course where you can do a little back country in the woods. Must be a snow boarders paradise because they or not many off limit areas.

Had an awesome day here after a powder day, not too steep and plenty of room between the trees and not too many people

This is my second season in the area and have boarded at Ike on many occasions. Interestingly on this trip I have heard a few people comment that Ikenotaira wasn't any good or that it was only for snowboarders. Not sure where this feedback comes from but its simply wrong on both counts. Ike is a fun mountain for both... More

The snow was a bit thin on the ground this week, but that isn't the fault of the resort! I love the covered lifts, long runs, off-piste skiing through the trees... The lunch stops here were a little less inspiring than those at Nozawa, but perhaps in peak season, more places open up higher up the mountain.

So much better than our expectations. Quiet, lots of wide open areas. You'll be silly not to spend a fun day here if heading to Myoko. If you don't have your own transport, check that they've fixed the Myoko Shuttle bus!

We have visited this place on 3rd January 2015. We really enjoyed doing snowboarding whole day. It is nicely maintained area with rooeway to take you up. It is having 3 different difficulty level for biginer, intermediate and expert. You can go to any level as per your skills. Rental shops are very economic here. Also you can enjoy onsen... More

We found a special deal on Japanese groupon website for a day pass for $15!!! We booked this online prior to arriving in Japan. If you do ( can ) this make ensure you take all relevent paper copies with you. Skiing was a little marred by fog and mist on the top third of the hill all day. I... More
