水芭蕉の群落

水芭蕉と黄色い花のリュウキンカという花がたくさん咲いていました。５月の連休に行きましたが観光客も少なく大変静かでした。木道がありぐるりと散策できるようになっていました。流れている水に触れましたが非常に冷たくて雪解けの水なんですね。

時期や体力に合ったコースを選べる

８月初めに妻と行ってきました。湿原は３コースありますが、今回は１時間程度のコースを散策しました。駐車場は数台しか止めれませんが、トイレはきれいに整備されています。湿原は鳥のさえずりを聞き、花を観賞しながらゆっくり歩きましたが、日陰がないこともあり結構汗をかきました。一旦、樹林帯に入ると心地良い風が吹き、体を冷やしてくれます。足を延ばせば赤池や袴岳までもトレッキングできるため、時期や体力に合ったコースを選ぶことができると思います。今度は水芭蕉か紅葉の時期に訪れたいと思います。

だれもいなくて自分たちだけの世界です

コースが３つほどあり体力、時間で回る事ができます。行った時がとても暑い日で日陰があまり無いので短めコースで正解でした。途中の休憩できるスペースは日陰で湿原一望でき風が心地よいです。残念ながら花は少しだけ見る事ができました。

尾瀬のような雰囲気の斑尾の別天地

今でこそ自然景観の湿原ですが、ここが江戸時代から明治、大正期まで、水田であったことはあまり知られていません。さほど広くはない湿原ですが、周囲を落葉広葉樹に囲まれていてまるで尾瀬ヶ原のような雰囲気を持つ高原の別天地です。湿原内には遊歩道が縦横にめぐらされていて、気軽に散策を楽しむことができます。
5月の新緑、10月の紅葉時期がお勧めです。

残雪の残る中でしたが、水芭蕉がきれいでした

今年は（？）雪がまだまだ残っていて、7割がた雪に覆われたままでしたが、奥まで歩いていくと、水芭蕉が広がっていてきれいでした。
残雪が多かったせいもあって、週末でしたが奥まで来る人がすくなく、ゆっくりできました
