The park was really pretty, and was actually reasonably quiet. It was quite nice to use to go on a relaxing walk after seeing the castle.

The walk through this park was relaxing and the cherry blossom was just coming out when we were there early April. We liked the castle itself too - worth a visit.

The castle itself is not terribly impressive, but it is pretty, and the grounds are pretty and relaxing to walk around. It's a great free activity to kill an hour on your way to Hakone. Tips: Odawara Station has large lockers where you can store...More

My husband and I lived in Odawara for 15 years (1983 to 1998) and walked through Odawara Castle on numerous occasions. Great festivals there at different times of the year, a beautifully maintained castle, and lovely walks. Very close to the center of town.

I went there before I take a shinkansen for osaka. Beautiful and solemn place. A nice walk, the castle from outside is majestic, there's a monkey cage in front of the castle

The castle park also has a children’s amusement section with a small train circling that area. The castle is beautifully maintained. I saw the summer festival and thoroughly enjoyed a day there. Lots of entertainment and food booths (during the festival).

Wonderful place for quiet reflection and beauty. Trees are full of new growth and despite overcast weather we enjoyed a lovely walk. Last traces of blossoms on the nearby walkway.

A nice walk around the castle grounds. Wonderful waterway where you can feed the TONS of carp. A Lily garden as well as many types of Hydrangeas. Peaceful and serene with awesome photo ops!
