Furusato Square is located in Sakura, which is also called Ciba Sakura by JR trains. This was the sight of the Tulip Festa, which runs every April or so. I am not sure if this big open field holds any other flower shows during other parts of the year. It is not accessible by major rail lines or bus lines,... More

this is good place especially in early april, you can see the cherry blossom and tulip festivals, This is mybest place but not accessible for public transport.

The attraction is free, so you don't really lose anything by stopping in. It's a fun little place to rest.... More

The tulip festival in April is always a great time to go. With thousands and thousands of flowers blooming and the windmill standing tall in the background, it really makes you forget that you are in Japan. It's a great place to bring a family or just to come by yourself and unwind.

This 'groundsailer' windmill gift from Holland is locally popular with flower festivals throughout the year. There is a bike path & boats in the nearby river so these opportunities exist although we didn't see them being used while we were there.
