A few friends and I took a trip up to do a hike and it started with BashBish. The falls and surround area were worth every minute spent driving there.

If you don’t mind the crowds visit Bash Bish on the weekend. Weekdays will be less active. Walking down from the Mass parking lot is exciting and fun. Back up was slower.

We did the easy 3/4 mile from the lower parking lot. This was one of the most beautiful walks I've done. Walking through the fall foliage and the river on the side was so peaceful and beautiful. The walk I thought was quite easy and...More

If you park in NY, you will cross into MA on the trail to reach the falls. Kids would like that. Hike from the NY parking lot is about 3/4 mile on a very wide relatively smooth path. An uphill walk that is not challenging...More

Parked on the New York side and walked the 3/4 mile trail to the falls. Fairly easy hike, but uphill most of the way. The falls were beautiful and you can get right down to the pool at the bottom.

If you park in the NYC side you get to cross the border to Massachusetts on foot and see the sign. It’s about a 3/4 mile walk to the falls - uphill on the way, but down on the way back - parking is free...More

The waterfall is worth a visit. No swimming is permitted, but many do. The walk up the gentle incline from the lower car park isn't too taxing.

Bish Bash Falls is a gorgeous setting to unwind. You can get real close to the base of the falls, although swimming is prohibited. There are two ways to get to the falls and both require some walking. The first is on the New York...More

We walked in on the blue trail but from NY. It wasn’t too difficult and there is a staircase that leads down to the falls with a railing so I don’t know why people thought it was so strenuous. The falls were lovely though I...More

Hi. I suppose that would depend on how able the person in question is. From the upper car park (closer to the falls) there are some steep steps down. From the lower car park there is an uphill path to follow that is quite... More
