山の中にある円空資料館

山の中にある資料館です。
ゆっくり見ても３０分位で見れるかなと思います。入場料は、大人250円です。高校生以下無料です。閉館時間近くに行ったせいか他にお客は、いませんでした。職員さんが詳しく説明して下さいました。館内は、撮影禁止です。
昔は、映像も流れていたのかスクリーンもあり会館当初は、来場者も多かったのかもしれません。

円空の人形が親しみを感じます

関から遠いですが立派な博物館です。展示コーナーは圧巻です。なんで、贅をつくした感じがちょっとやり過ぎ感はありますが、円空フアンには感激です。

貴重な円空仏が展示してあります。

高賀神社の脇にある小さな建物ですが、中にはたくさんの円空仏が展示されています。また全国各地を巡った円空の足跡の証として他地域にある円空仏が写真パネルで展示されています。形、大きさなど様々な円空仏ですが、すべて微笑みある穏やかな顔をしていたのが非常に印象的でした。私は道中の看板を目印（高賀神社含む）にして来ましたが、近くを通った際はちょっと寄り道してみるのもいいかと思います。

最後の円空仏が見られる

円空の最後の作と言われる歓喜天像が見られる円空の博物館です。関市にはほかにも関市円空館があり、円空が好きな人にはたまりません。

高賀神社にあります

円空は全国行脚の中で、隣接する高賀神社を訪れ修業を行ったとされ、円空仏の最後の作と言われている歓喜天像ほか、多数の仏像が高賀神社に奉納しています。円空記念館には、最高傑作といわれる一木作り三像をはじめ、30体近くの円空仏が展示されています。入場料は一般２５０円です。

「円空」がいっぱいの記念館

今回は開館中に再訪できました。館内撮影禁止は仕方ないですが、円空の木彫り現物やレプリカと和歌など関連資料が沢山あり見ごたえがあります。館内中央の２Ｆへの階段脇にある、円空が大木へ彫刻している立体模型は周囲が薄暗いこともありリアルで迫力があります。関市が運営しており、地元の人３名が輪番で受付を担当しているそうで、詳しい解説をしてくれました。
