We booked our tour via Japanican.com as 1-Day Family Skiing Trip to Mt. Fuji Area via Shinkansen (Round-trip from Tokyo). Though its not a guided tour they will provide you a detailed print out itinerary on how to get there. Tickets were delivered directly in our hotel. The place was a great view of Mt. FUJI. We went last Feb... More

We get here from: MISHIMA STATION TO YETI RESORT. BUS WITH SET TICKET (6,600). The place was crowded. They dont have any space for beginners, intermediate and expert. Theres only two parks for snowboarders and skiiers. Mix with lots of kids, adults and photographers (parents). They should have a flat space for beginners so there will be no trouble if... More

A visit to this snow and ski resort was not on the cards when we were planning for our trip to Hakone. However, dear wifey chanced upon this when we were thinking about how we can fill our calendars for our 3 days trip to Hakone from Tokyo. Thankfully, we included this on our agenda as we thought the children... More

Took a family trip to Yeti in late December. Unfortunately, the only snow was produced by the snow cannons on one run. The snow boarders were reckless and uncontrolled. We stayed for night skiing hoping it would be better after it was regroomed, but it wasn't. Still icy and not worth the amount of money we spent for the day.... More

We visited this tour through a booking a travel package. The package included shinkansen and resort tickets. we went there to view Mt. Fuji and to ski. Unfortunately we didn't see the mountain because it was very foggy that day. It was supposed to be an unfortunate event atoo when we realized that it was very scary to ski if... More

This was not the best place for a beginner who does not speak Japanese. The staff will hand you anything (many people there had been given skis that were too big), not a complaint per se... just know your stuff and what you need before you get there. Also the "bunny slope" has an initially steep incline and the slopes... More

My partner and I had an absolutely great experience~ We're both first timers and I believe the slopes are acceptable for beginners. The beginner slope was not open in the morning yet so we unknowingly ski'd on advanced stage slope. It was traumatic I thought but when we got into Beginner's slope, we felt it's too basic already. I guess... More
