We spent New Years at Taos looking to play in the snow. We had never skied and decided to take lessons with the Taos ski school. We had two different instructors over two half day lessons and by the end my daughter and were skiing down the novice hill. My daughter has sensory issues and the instructors did wonderful including... More

We came spring break week for our kiddos' (age 9 and 11) first time skiing. We had our doubts when we rocked up and saw how steep the "bunny hill" is. But after 3 full days in ski school, our kids were solid blue skiers. And "Taos blue" is no joke. I would liken it to learning to drive for... More

The ski school was a great experience for my kids during a very busy Spring Break week. They have the equipment rental and class assignment down to a science. My only gripe was that they ran out of helmets so two of my three kids skied without helmets on the first day. They fixed it for day two but I... More

Orlando was a great instructor. He was cool, fun and creative in teaching my 3 teenagers. They took a 3 hour private lesson and were skiing on a green by the end of the day. The process and staff were professional.

We came to Taos with young children because we heard of their great ski instruction. Taos didn't let me down. The kids, ages 4 to 8, did excellent and loved going to school!

My wife and I have had several ski lessons over the years, and we both ski at the advanced level. Taking a lesson was the last thing on our minds as we did a week in Taos on our Tampa Bay ski group trip. But we we got there, everyone was raving about the great experience at the Taos Ski... More

Only one of our daughters went to ski school on the first day. She had an absolutely amazing time, so the second day we signed up both of our daughters. The instructors were great and she would've been fine had the conveyor belt that takes the children up the hill been working. It wasn't working that day and therefore they... More

Spent a "ski week" in Taos which includes 6 consecutive days of 2 hours/day of instruction by one of many instructors. The student is initially evaluated for current ability and then assigned to the appropriate class. There were four adults in my class, all of comparable ability. Our teacher, Dano, was patient with our initial beginner abilities and molded us... More

We had a 15 year old first time snow boarder and 10 and 7 year old first time skiers enrolled in ski school for 1.5 days. They all were confident on Strawberry Hill by the end of day two. They were able to rent their same equipment for the third day and had a blast! Highly recommend Taos Ski School... More

Being a family that typically opts for warm weather destinations, we opted this holiday for a short visit to TSV and what a pleasant surprise. The school was the center of the successful trip. Upon arrival at the wrong location for our first lesson, "Jake" went out of his away to make everything happen for us right there which even... More
