O a sunny day a nice activity for half a day. Arrange a seat in the back of a truck to be able to make the best pictures. It was better than I had expected

I could see most of big 5 except a lion. And tour guide was very pleasant and kind. I do recommend it highly.

Unfortunately, despite of being named a safari park, it offers only a few animal species. In particular, you can see few giraffes, buffalos, rhinos, antilopes and some zebras. Also two different monkey species : grey and red. There is an alligator's lake too. Overall, it...More

If you live in Dakar or are visiting Senegal the reserve offers a great option for animal lovers who like to see wild animals roam free. The park is beautiful with a wide variety of animals, many from South Africa, some local. The drive around...More

I have no idea why people rate this park so highly, it’s expensive to visit and very poor compared to other parks. Having recently visited the safari park in Mauritius, Reserve De Bandia is so poor in comparison, with far less animals and also far...More

Great place to pet rhinos, see all kids of Sahara wild life, Giraffes, hogs, impala, tortoises and hundreds of birds and more. Also tons of Mombasa trees 1000 plus years old. Tour guide is mandatory and the Jeep rentals make for a great experience.

Although this is not necessarily viewing wildlife in its natural habitat (several of the animals are imported from South Africa or other parts of Senegal), we found it a very high-yield and well done reserve with a highly knowledgeable our guide (thanks Ibrahim). We got...More

Unforgettable safari during my stay in Senegal. A bit expensive, but worth the price for someone who goes on a safari for the first time. Enjoying nature, wild animals while receving informations about them from a trained guide. The vehicles go slow, so there is...More

I have been to Bandia twice- once in December and again the following April with my 4 teenage children and my mother. The kids absolutely loved it, as it is not a typical zoo with animals in cages or fake "habitats". They are seen as...More

This is really more of a zoo than a true wildlife reserve as many of the animals are not indigenous to the area. Nonetheless it is really well done on jeeps with a very knowledge guide. Definitely worth the visit.
