The best place to view the whole city from above. You can climb up by the staircases near the market or get a motorcycle to help. It would be better if there are seats available to sit and enjoy the view.

The square in the compound of the monastery. You have to climb up for 100 meter height and as you reach up atop, you get amazed the view over the town, Kalaw. But be warned, be careful the dogs, they bite.
