Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to watch 'Wonka' today.
Sat there thinking it will surely warm up soon. It didn't. Even with a coat on it was freezing.

Watched Wonka last night with my girlfriend. Nice chatty fella on counter on way in, all good. Screen 7. Sat down, thought was a bit nippy. Seemed to get colder and colder throughout the film. There was one other couple in and we all had our coats, gloves and hats on and was still freezing cold. Mentioned to high viz guy on way out who said would have a look but didn't looked too surprised .Advice.. dont go here until summer maybe or maybe just go to another cinema that has heating.

I went to meet my daughter and partner at the cinema this afternoon and was told I want allowed to buy a ticket because I was too late. I was 15 minutes late and my partner was inside told me it hadn’t even started yet. The man that served me had brown teeth and long greasy hair , I wouldn’t want him touching any food or even tickets, very unhygienic!

This cinema is a great facility for the town, it is limited in size but seems to have a good selection of films/showing times. The selection of refreshments is as you would expect at a cinema chain, prices quite high but equivalent to other cinemas. Wine is served in plastic glasses and it would be helpful to maybe have canned wine so that you didn't have to balance a flimsy glass full of wine. Parking is an issue if you are going during the daytime as the closest car park is limited to 3 hours only. Staff were polite.

Went to see Avatar, Great Movie. but this was spoilt because we got a parking ticket. The reason we got a parking ticket was the car park ticket given to us by Vue was already used and not excepted by the number plate recognition ticket machine. We had no way of by passing the system to pay either and the machine said we had over stayed our two hours when we should have had 3 hours from Vue and it was Sunday so that would have covered up to the the no parking charge time of 7pm. The cinema needs to sort this issue out. We wont be going again.

Went here to watch the latest Bond Film. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. The staff were very helpful (particularly advising us about the limited parking time in the adjacent car park - we ended up moving our car to save a considerable £80 fine if the three hour time limit was exceeded). The chairs were comfortable and a good choice of films.

Plenty of screens with comfortable seating. Great vale for money for food/drinks area In the lobby area (never used as pricey). Staff friendly and helpful. Make sure you know the rules on parking in the multi-storey carpark

The cinema is great and the staff are always really helpful. The car park is not theirs and I think it demonstrates great customer service that they warn people about the 3 hour limit in the Sainsbury's car park (not many films are longer than this, so it is good they warn you).
The only negative I have is with the phone AI system, called Colonel, which is very poor...merely repeats the same message over and over. Sometimes a human is what you need to speak to and the sooner Vue recognise this the more seats they will sell.
