We had a great day at EcoPark Fishing World. Plenty of fish were caught (11 in total) and the kids really enjoyed seeing the birds & animals; riding on the paddle boats and playing the various games on offer.

I rang two days ago to find out if I could use discounted groupon voucher for the activities. The person on the phone asking me not to purchase voucher online and promised he will give me the same price if I take a sceenshot of the package price. Then he booked me in. Before I went today, I rang to double check if the promise was still there as I had to travel 45mins there. The person confirmed okay to use groupon price. When we turned up, he completely denied that he agreed on the package price he promised the time of my booking. Instead he wanted charging me new discounted groupon voucher online which is more expensive than the time I booked on the phone. The way he handled this situation was really appalling. At the end we didn't do the activities as I felt being treated dishonestly. This person completely disrespected my time and energy for driving all the way there.

We had purchased a Groupon that was quite old and finally decided to have a day out at the park. I actually stumbled across the TripAdvisor reviews, and wondered if it was even worth going given the reviews of late were pretty scathing. We ended up going and rather than spend the entire day there, just planned on going for a couple of hours. Our main reason for purchasing tickets was that our kids love fishing, however haven’t actually caught much - we figured a stocked lake would be perfect to muster excitement with a catch. The lakes are small ponds full of plants, and I’m not sure how stocked they really are, however both of my kids caught a fish each which just made their day. As other have said, bait doesn’t last long and sometimes flies off, but easy enough to buy more for $5. I think it’s also user-error as if we baited the hook properly we were able to cast 2 and 3 times with the same bait. We had a family pass 2 adults 2 children and were surprised to note it only allows 2 rods and bait, but that was fine as we were helping the kids anyway. There were chairs and plenty of shady spots on the bank to sit while fishing. We didn’t really make an effort to go see the animals given the time, however there was a couple of donkeys close by that we fed - the kids loved that. One pond had paddle boats. My youngest enjoyed going for a ride, but my eldest was really disappointed that they closed them about 10 minutes before shutting the park for the day, so he left in tears. In hindsight we should’ve allowed more time as could’ve spend another couple of hours easily. Would we pay full price? No. Did the kids have fun? Yes (until the disappointment in not being able to paddle boat). Quite honestly if we had left more time and avoided that meltdown, we would’ve had a lovely day with happy kids. The park is definitely nothing fancy and is very basic but if your kiddos love fishing you can make (half) a day of it.

The worst customer service ever. The host didn't even say us hello and yelled at us to stay behind the line. Then he sold us the passes for $ 19, although in fact they are the same as passes for $ 14. In tickets says about animals feeding, but the owner gave us only three bags of food, although we paid for 5 tickets. And he refused to give us more. He said that we like to break the rules. Extremely rude. Then he didn’t want to let in to go-karting so that I could take pictures of my husband and son why already were there. The park is small. Everything is old and messy. Not worth of money for a ticket.

It's poorly operated I feel ~ It's over priced and the prices are for wealthy overseas people NOT the TYPICAL AUSTRALIAN family , You pay to go in and then Your child may wish to have a pedal car $10 each for those ~ food is very basic and not over priced but BASIC OMG do NOT buy the Chocolate Milk "kiddies one" it's from ALDI and they charge $3 each for the popper & it's bloody awful , My partner and Myself read the front price board OMG the cost of family and things are over the top. NOT A CHEAP day out EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA COSTS , We wished to have a picture with the birds $60 extra for that NO THANKS just be aware everything will be EXTRA COST , We did not fish so I can't say anything about that but I know it would be "STUPID" because there are like too many people on one dam. I was bitten by one of the Donkey "LOL" that's OK unless I get mad Donkey disease....It's not the most attractive place on the planet and it's poorly in My eye's one time and one time only place to visit for Me. I purchased the cheap deal on GROUPON and because We went on a public holiday he charged us and extra $20 OMG for what and it was Brisbane show day not a real public holiday anyway in MY eye's DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...BE WARNED.
