There is plenty to do at Matakana Country park. A shop that sells a variety of crafts, a café and the train for the children.

This is a park for young children. It has animals and a train ride and old farm machinery to climb on etc. There is a nice cafe and restaurant as well

Great play area, cafe and free animal park. Lovely art Gallery with New Zealand Artists. Resturant opens after 4pm so don't go for lunch.
