In the cellar of the castle there is a very interesting exhibition of Olbram Zoubek's statues. You can walk among the statues and drink Moravian wine (the cellar is very well equipped too). The place has a very impressive atmosphere.

Great castle, offers a nice view of the city. We enjoyed the castle tour, the guide was very friendly and interesting. Many rooms are available for visiting, as well as the old wooden theater.

This is the biggest renaissance chateau in the Czech Republic. It's beautifully renovated and has numerous sgraffito decorations on the walls. It has become an UNESCO site in 1999. Famous Czech composer Bedrich Smetana was born in one of the buildings in 1824.

Super setting for the evening open air concert in this lively Czech city about 2 hours from Prague. The castle can be visited and the 3 week Snetana music festival week is worth a visit . Get tickets early .
