We found it quiet and good for body boarding. Helpful life guards who directed us to nearby Warren beach when the waves and current made swimming unsafe

The water here can be quite pleasant in the summer, and while parking can be a problem on weekends, midweek is usually chill. In the winter the waves can roll into the estuary, providing some decent surfing.

It was roasting hot at 7pm when we parked up at Owenahincha and started paddling through the rock pools. Nice and quiet with fantastic views. Its a nice beach in an area blessed with great beaches.

This beach is very long with great dunes for walking. We were there in January, waves were massive! Plenty of people about walking too, carpark there too.

This beach is a must for all age groups, totally unspoiled and a wonderful place to walk! It provides peaceful contemplation and plenty of space for games and picnics.
