Simply beautiful and ornate, yet a lovely respite as you walk through town. I attended a 10 AM mass on Sunday, which was pretty much the exact flow as in America, so I didn’t mind that I couldn’t understand the homily.

Climbed the steep steps and had a wonderful view over the town.Well worth the effort although avoid the times when the bells ring as they are very loud.

The absolute best views from this island can be seen from the tower of the cathedral. Bring your camera and get some good shots of the beautiful blue water and red roofs of the old city. It's not very expensive and absolutely worth the climb.

Beautiful church inside and out with fascinating front with little statues of Adam & Eve on the pillars and of course St Mark - steep climb up to bell tower but gave it a miss.

This is a really nice Cathedral and well worth the €2.50 entrance fee. It is so peaceful and serene inside and lovely to just sit and take in the whole structure and altars. Definitely well worth visiting....

We went in there without a guide and I guess you need one to experience everything and understand everything.

than it looks from the outside! Plenty to see and wonder at. If you are fit and able then walk up the Bell Tower for some good views.

Close to the Marco Polo home, we arrived there later in the evening and discovered it as we were walking by, because the doors were wide open and a beautiful vocal concert was going on that evening. During the day there is a small fee...More
