The original Korcula Town Museum is located in the palace Gabrielis, on the central square of the old town, opposite St. Mark's Cathedral. The 15-16th century building was the residence of the Gabrieli family (look for their crest on the stone façade, along with a...More

An interesting museum but much reduced in size owing to renovations in the original building. Mostly a maritime display at the moment and the main building is supposed to reopen in 2019 but 2020 looks more likely. Not worth taking children too although it is...More

We visited Korcula on a day trip from Dubrovnik and it was well worth the visit. The Museum captures the history over many centuries of history and is well worth a visit

The temporary location is two streets to the right facing the museum being refurbished and down the street about 30 metres on the left. You enter a courtyard and go up the steps on the right.

This museum is temporarily housed in a nobleman’s home around the corner from its normal location. Unfortunately, there are not any signs indicating where it moved to. The reason for the temporary relocation (2-3 years) is because the Palace it is normally located in is...More

This museum is well worth a look while in the old town area as it tells the history of the island, which is definitely quite interesting.

I would recommend a visit to this little museum as it provides a really thorough and interesting insight into the history of the island, going back centuries, through various dynasties. It's very well arranged over 4 floors and we loved the old replica kitchen on...More

Interesting to look around and find out more about the history of the town. Fascinating collection of old pieces and collectables. The Building itself is part of the museum too being an old building. Great to look around. Doesn't take long either.

Fascinating collection of artifacts and memorabilia all mashed into a small building in the centre of old Korcula town that makes you feel like you are back in the middle ages. Best bit is the kitchen at the top of the building.
