Spent over 6 hours here to see bird life and Ospreys. There are designated view points to try to see Opsreys, we were lucky to catch a glimpse of the one who has returned this year. The walk to the view points is very challenging....More

Good stretch of the legs did not see any ospreys but good walk to summit some of paths are closed due to work in woodlands but well signed to get to summit on return nice cafe at the car park well worth a visit

Was looking forward to visiting here after driving past a couple of times on our holiday in the Lakes. Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff... only issue was that most walk routes were closed for Forestry work. Shame, will re-visit.

About £3-4 for a couple of hours. The ospreys have possibly all flown for the winter but the views were spectacular. The walk itself was great on either route and the Old Sawmill coffee shop was great. There is also the Mirehouse to visit which is over the road from the car park
