Lovely lake, difficult to find spot to sit beside the lake and enjoy the ambiance. We were lucky, we went to the Lakes Distillery and nearby was a parking area that enabled us to sit down by the lake.

Great place to walk dogs and watch nature. Lovely scenery, with easy access to the lake. Would definitely visit again.

Plenty of walks around the lake. Brazil location. Stayed at armathwaite hall, very pretty and lots to see. The regatta was on when we were there so a good watch.

Viewed from the main road heading towards Keswick. Breathtaking scenery and apparently the only lake in the lake district. The others are 'meres' or 'water.

Hello, I'm sorry you have been misinformed, we didn't cycle round Bassenthwaite lake. Just had a brilliant stay at the Armathwaite Hall Hotel.
