Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We drove down from Bateman’s Bay and bunny hopped to as many accessible Beaches as we could on the way back.
Broulee Beach was the first one we visited and was quite easy to access on foot.
It was a quiet time of a Year so very tranquil although there about 4 people in the Sea!
Stupidly we didn’t bring our Swimmers otherwise we would have been tempted.
So we just soaked up the atmosphere.
Nice experience.

A fantastic safe beach to visit with good surf, dog areas and close to everything
These communities need us back to holiday. The catavan park has great safety policy and fire communication. The conditions are mild and the water clear. Some smoke haze but mainly mist.

Really beautiful and clean, not crowded, feels like a safe place to swim because the depth increases very gradually and (at least when I was there) there weren't big waves.

North Broulee beach is ideally located with Candalagan Creek on one side for littlies and the beach on the other. With gentle waves for learning kids and some bigger ones out the back, it’s the ideal family beach.

We have been coming back to Broulee as often as we can since discovering it 16 years ago, driving up to 6 hours to get here from wherever we have lived, in preference to closer beaches.
Broulee beach (south) has a surf club and patrolled area in summer and on weekends. The beach itself stretches for 7km south to Moruya Heads, a lovely sandy strip backed by vegetated dunes.
Depending on the swell and wind direction you can surf, swim, SUP, fish off rocks or beach. The is also snorkeling in the protected Shark Bay, a short walk around the rocks at the point.
Broulee Island is connected to the headland by a permanent sand bar, so you can walk all the way around the island. It is a protected marine sanctuary.

We have visited Mossy Point in summer over the last 3 years. Broulee beach is one of the best beaches we have spent time at. Usually calm with gentle surf. Great sand. Usually not crowded.

My wife and I walked along this beach after a long drive. It is long and flat so it's perfect for a leg stretch.

Possibly in the surf club, but there are outside showers free to the public.
