If you are in the area of Porto Seguro and Trancoso, a visit to Caraiva is a must. This little town is just accessible by a boat, and cars are not allowed. The beach is beautiful with little restaurants in the town.

All the beaches around Caravan are beautiful. The further you walk from the village the quieter they are but it is all paeceful. Lovely place to relax.

The water here is beautiful and so is the beach. The waves get rough in the afternoon so best time to swim is in the morning

The beach Is amazing Don T bring heavy baggage. You have to carry it all the time! To reach Caraiva you have to cross the river on a canoe. And when u get there, streets are made of soft sand! Just seat And relax at "bar da praia" . Great atmosphere. They charge a per person tax but you can... More

Another magical place in Bahia. Very nice, deserted beach. Beautiful and far from anything else, a very peaceful place.

I could stay here forever. The only downside is the food, since there aren't many options if you're not willing to go search for a restaurant.

that is true paradise. you can find some places with music or you can stay in silence with sound of see only. everyone finds a right place. In case you are afraid of the ocean you can swim in the river

Caraiva is a paradise on earth and a spot less known. An amazing beach to relax with good pousadas and restaurants. There's a lot to do there, sports, relax at the beach, rent a boat to spend the day at Espelho beach and by night good options of restaurants and to dance as a local. One of my favorite places.

An amazing place to calm down and relax. Awesome beach and ideal for relaxing summer Holidays. The Island can only be reached by boat which makes it a less mass-touristic spot. A lot of great Hotels and Restaurants on the Island. We really enjoyed our stay on this Island of natural Beauty.
