From car park, I'd recommend hiking the wonderful trail in clockwise fashion to be facing the creek as you hike uphill. At the halfway point at the top we somehow missed our turn even though we thought we followed the signs correctly. That took us...More

A really enchanting walk up the beautiful little creek. Like a rainforest! Easy to walk, does not need to take more than a couple of hours, but we spent more time constantly taking pictures!

Second time here with the grandchildren and the dog. Reasonably short circular walk (by joining other paths, it can be made longer), with some steep climbing at the start. Atmospheric walk down the glen. Some steep drops at side of path in places, however, all...More

really impressing landscape with falls in the forest. applicable also in rainy days. there is a parking on A815 with a sign for Pucks Glen. When walking there is a cross in th forest. Take the left into the Glen, not the right.

This is close to where we live now and we go there often. If you like Lord of the Rings style forests, waterfalls and wildlife it's well worth a visit.

A few minutes drive from Dunoon this is a place of natural beauty used by locals and visitors throughout the year despite west coast weather.you need sensible walking shoes and your dog will love walking there-providing you bag your poop and take it away with...More

We found out that on Sundays there are no buses which would go that direction and therefore a local taxi provider runs a "taxi shuttle service" to the Benmore Botanic Garden, which costs £3 per person. We just simply went to... More

I took a bus from Dunoon which stopped by the diner at the bridge, a few minutes walk away from the start if the walk. I recall I took it from the foot passenger ferry terminal but can't remember the number if the bus
