If you're in the neighbourhood, you should pay a visit, but I would not recommend to go there from further away as the theatre is really small and not accessible due to plays during summer time. But you can see enough from the fence.

Really enjoyed an atmospheric performance of Phaedra in the ancient surroundings. Well acted with excellent costumes and unobtrusive English subtitles. 25E a ticket so not a cheap night and also no interval which was testing given the seating. However still scoring 5 as a unique...More

It is nonsense to go and see. The theatre is at an remote spot and there is a huge fence around it. No idea why anyone should want to go here.

You can either drive to or take the walk around the bay & walk thr path through the orchards to get there. It is in reasonable condition for its age. Fenced off, but worth a visit.

The acoustics here is amazing! Several individuals/groups got up and "performed" in the middle (but I think this may not be allowed as a group was stopped mid song). It is only half an hour from Nafplio, which is a lovely, quaint town

This is an amazing theatre with 55 rows. The sound from the pit is clear and loud. It was one of the highlights on our day trip. It is a must see for anyone who enjoys historical landmark sites. Definitely worth a visit.

The acoustics in this well preserved theater are amazing. If you stand on the floor and speak in a normal tone you can here it all the way on the top row. The theater is in great shape. We made the trip over from Nafplio...More

Visited on a very hot Thursday before heading to the bigger theatre at Epidavros. Disappointed to find it closed. Theatre is fenced. Small modern booth but no staff or information regarding opening times. A further 10 people visited in the few minutes it took us...More

To visit and watch a Greek tragedy play is a MUST and a lifetime experience... The village of Epidaurus where the small theatre is located is beautiful, breathtaking and romantic... Should definitely be on someone's bucket list...
