Daulatabad Fort comes on the way from Aurangabad and Ajanta. The fort is huge and lot of it is well preserved. As soon as you enter, note the big doors and clever architecture build to prevent enemies from attacking the fort. The climb is easy...More

This fort is good to visit in the morning because the weather might be more convenient. The view of the top is very beautiful, but there are many stairs so be sure to have good shoes. Also remember bringing enough water with you.

It takes about 2 hrs to see the Daulatabad fort. However, the fort is built in a way that it seems impregnable. It is close to the city and worth seeing. Carry water for the 2 mile hike
