Most definetly a place to visit. A wonderful construction, with a lot of history in its walls. Certainly will leave an impression on anybody visiting this imposing castle. A must see for anyone

A highlight of the trip to Romania, no deco inside the castel, but can use imagination, Imagine the glory of hundreds of years ago. 我在羅馬尼亞的最後一個景點,完全衝著白騎士Hunyadi János而來。沒有Peles castle那種富麗堂皇的浮誇奢華,而是冰與之歌那種粗獷的中世紀風格。

Looks exactly how a medieval castle should look. Only thing that takes away from it a bit is that it burned down several times and has been "restored" so much that there is not much original castle left. Also the surrounding area has been heavily...More

Not sure why there are so many comments about safety, etc. This is not a castle built for Disneyland! It has survived hundreds of years so of course it is not welcoming to those with physical challenges but if you stay alert and watch where...More

We did park on the paid parking lot and did eat good sandwiches by Always Fresh located at the parking lot. From the parking lot it is a short walk, with many souvenirs shops, to the castle. Especially the view from the outside is great....More

This castle is just as you imagine a Transylvanian castle should look. It is approached via a wooden ramp/bridge. From the outside it is reminiscent of a Sleeping Beauty-type castle. Such interesting shapes. Inside there is lots to admire too.
