This beach is very quiet and full of water sports all the way down, which wouldn’t recommend at all. Me and my partner booked two jet skis for 20 minutes which wasn’t that cheap, and after I started on mine, his one wouldn’t start- the...More

One of the best thing you can do here is enjoy the sunset and have a relaxing evening. You don't have much activities to do but it is a nice place to sit back and relax.

Batu Ferringhi is a very quiet resort. Apart from night market there is very little to do in the evenings. The beach is nothing special. Swimming is not a good idea due to jelly fish.

After spending a nice evening enjoying delicious local food at one of the most famous food courts, we spent the morning afterwards on the beach. Honestly I'd expected something better, the beach is just fine and I have seen much better beaches in my life....More

After returning from a day in the pool we end up sitting by the beach and relaxing while listening to the wave. It’s almost perfect as weekdays have less crowd and peaceful. We almost fell asleep while the wind bruise against our skin !

A beautiful beach, clean and inviting....sections are cordoned off for different activities, it’s safe, and just a pleasure to go for a walk

At this time of year the beach is not busy with tourists and there are more people trying to sell water sports and drag people into bars/restaurant than there are visitors. The beach is not the cleanest and there are other, better places around Penang.

After making time to visit following a friend's recommendation, I can only say 'what a dump'. Rubish everywhere, horrible sand (very coarse and rough broken shells) which isn't nice to walk on let alone lie down. If you want a nice beach i'd say go...More

The horse riding is restricted to the southern end of the beach. The same people who run the water sports activities also operate the horse riding. I don't know what the cost is, but think it would be reasonably... More
