I’m a snob when it comes to sand and typically don’t love a beach unless the sand is perfect and unusual (sugar white, volcanic black, pink, etc) but the water, coconut palms and sunsets made up for what is decidedly not white sand.
I went there for a relaxation trip with highway express. It was amazing with clear water, nice view and fresh air. You can sit in front of the hotel freely as there was not crowded as in other beach. It's a long way to go...More

We stayed at the Thandwe beach resort in May 2019 but have stayed numerous times at Bayview , Silver Beach ( beach front bungalows ) and the Aureum Hotel during our regular pilgrimage to Ngapali .There are many hotels in the area - some have rocky areas on the beach front or beach restaurants. It is seldom overcrowded even when considered to be peak season .You might wish to choose a hotel within a short walk of some shops or restaurants perhaps.
