There are so many places to get good views of Half Dome, from the valley floor, Tunnel View or Glacier Point. This is a creation of nature unlike any other. We loved every different vantage point we could reach to see it. Beautifulo.

You can see this dome from many places in the park. The drive up the mountains are twisty and scary but worth it for the views. Few working bathrooms in the park. Road side pull offs for photos are few and small and fill up...More
But that doesn't detract from it at all...in fact it makes it all the more awesome. It surely looks like it once had had another half. Half Dome is another opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the incredible granite that makes up Yosemite!
