Do take the time to visit the battleship. Great exhibits. Can go all over ship. Need to be able to climb ladders to go to different decks.

Do not miss the surrender deck where WWII ended, and the story of a 19 yr. old Japanese suicide pilot that died trying to damage the ship, but received an honorable burial by the crew.

Uber from the airport to the memorial visitor centre is less than 30 minutes. From the visitor centre you will be taken by bus to the Ford Island. With checking that’s another 30 minutes. The tour itself is 90 minutes, but... More
