Not knowing much about the witch trials and seeing how the US celebrates Halloween I was pleased to find that it told the story in a sympathetic and interesting way. It was easy to follow the story and the scenes helped to illustrate what was...More

It isn't a traditional museum with room to room exhibits. Get your ticket with entry time, don't worry about the line - you'll get a chance to choose your seats - choose a middle seat so you can turn and see the 360 show as...More

Truth be told I did find the Salem Witch Museum to be one of the the least exciting sights to see in the city of Salem. With that being said there was no way I was going to visit and not experience the museum first...More

This place has the great location and imposing facade, but thats all it has going for it. Everything is so out dated straight from the 70s or 80s. They crowd you all into a room for the first part and unless you get to sit...More

Definitely a must do when you go to Salem. This should be the first thing you do so that you know about the history before hitting all the historic landmarks! Very informative.

Thank you for the review of the Salem Witch Museum. It is great to read that you enjoyed your time with us and gained some insight into the trials as well! Sincerely, Faxon

Don't go expecting artifacts or historical items from Salem's past. This setup does a good job of explaining what happened in 1692, and what has happened since then. It's a good way to orient yourself before taking any of the walking tours in the city.

Took my kids this past weekend, hadn't been in thirty years and it is just a fun an experience as it was as a kid. The retelling of the witch trials with the music and voice are great! The scenes are still creepy and the...More

I had thought this place would be so much better than a light show with scenes depicting the trials. It was way too hokey and I couldn't wait to leave. The whole museum was very divorced from a memorable experience and I would tell others...More

Yes. The big room has stairs to access but you can come in through another door that has a ramp.

There is no dedicated parking for the museum. We found parking about a block or two away. And the walk was enjoyable.

There are always lines and in October that will be an even bigger problem.
