Impressive. The monument surroundings are relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the walking trail. The monument itself is very nice. At our visit there was some construction that blocked the view for photos for the barrier wall was so high you could not take photo over...More

I finally had the opportunity to visit Mount Rushmore after over five decades as an American, and I’m glad for the experience. The monument itself is stunning, interesting, and relaxing, all at once. The facilities (parking, restrooms, vending, trails, exhibits, etc.) are all top-notch and...More

The memorial was great to see although we were disappointed with the amount of information that was readily available about the memorial. We had to Google our questions to have them answered. However, most of the viewing areas were closed for construction so we’re unsure...More

This was on the bucket list and we flew about 2000 miles to see it, but the trip could have waited a couple of years until the construction is complete. There is no walkway lined with flags and you can't walk all the way around...More

It was great seeing this memorial because there are details on the sculpture you don't see unless you're there. However, you don't need to spend a lot of time here. Be sure to drive around to the west side and see the side view of...More
