A stunning cathedral on an awesome site. We were very lucky to catch a beautiful wedding which we observed from afar. Idyllic.

In a beautiful spot along the Adriatic Coast sits the massive Trani Cathedral. Get a guide and start from the bottom, then work your way up. So impressive!

The thing that struck me was the location being that it's by the sea with beautiful views, you can also view it from the other side of the port, past the restaurants and through the communal garden to a look out point. Stunning to see...More

Very beautiful chiurch in a majestic setting. It is worth visiting Trani even if only to see its catedrale.

Huge building, magnificent interior with an enormous crypt. It is one of the more beautiful cathedrals of Puglia and the great attraction of the well kept port of Trani. The access is under the stairway.

Spent some time in the cathedral. It is larger than the one in Bari. Got to see the door to heaven. Not much inside.

The most amazing cathedral we’ve ever seen! Beautiful - simple, classy, majestic. Every detail perfectly designed. We were so delighted by this one! And the location - just next to beautiful Adriatic sea. Ideal contrasts of colors. Cathedral is so bright - made by stone,...More

This Cathedral stood just opposite our hotel and is a must see. The Catherdral is lit up in the evening and its the best time of the day to really appreciate its beauty

Lovely spot to have this magnificent building by the sea. Very special place. Also not to have lots of people around at this busy time of year is a real bonus.

Yes, it is possible but You may inform Carthedral staff about it before visiting when booking. As I have known in some cases You may use only technical means that are provided by Cathedral.

I did not take a tour. I visited on my own, including the crypt. If you read up on the Cattedrale before your visit, that should be fine. It is a beautiful site, right on the water's edge. Buon viaggio, Cristina
