The drive up & down the mountains is amazing & very easy to do. Well worth hiring a moped & giving it a go. The roads are probably the best in Cambodia, not a single pothole or dirt track in sight! There are 4 or...More

If you don't have your own motorcycle, hire a big bike for $4 on the Old Market Street with under-seat storage. Take an emergency bottle of gas, a thin sweater, or at least an extra, long-sleeved layer, which you'll need as you go up this...More

Road is the best for 100 km radius. About 10km from Kampot you'll see the entrance. Great biking if you have the courage to twist the wrist. Alpine type hairpins and turns through the amazing forests. A hillclimb of note. Amazing sights. Huge 5* casino,...More

I was amazed at the the beauty and views from the mountain and so much to see from pagodas, ancient and newer to a Christian church build when the French were here, also a Palace unfortunately turned into a Casino which was less interesting. If...More

I had the pleasure of doing Boko twice. It’s a stunning place with amazing viewpoints, and if you get a good tour guide (Scott from Mad Monkey hostel was amazing) it’s a winner. The only thing that can throw a spanner in the works is...More

Guys, that scooter trip was an adventure. We could see around 10m thanks to the fog. There are nice things to see like the old church and the monastery. Therefore the Chinese built there a small hotel which was the former hill station. That was...More

I visited during the monsoon season, and the rain just couldn't stop! We had a very hard time going up with a rented motorbike due to the very uncomfortable weather. The waterfall was just amazing though.

Been there many times with my family. First time I went there wasn’t really great as it was so hot and I didn’t reach the top to old casino. However, second time I reached the top of mountain plus it was drizzling so there was...More

Black palace - no I wouldn’t bother for what appeared to be a small brick and concrete house (the remains) part way up. The church/casino even the guide books tell you don’t bother, the development on top of the place has ruined it. The development...More

Hi, at the end of November, it was warm too. I think the temperature was quite the same as in Kampot, just humidity was lower, so we felt more comfortable. Regards, Jakub
