If you’re looking to see a broadway show, many theaters are on 42nd street. Fun street to walk and see all the plays/shows going on.

Visited last month, October 2019 with my wife and brother. We watched Maleficent 2 and the experience was absolutely amazing. We bought oir tickets at the kiosk located at the ground floor, assisted by a staff. It was easy except for the huge number of...More

The street bisects midtown Manhattan running from east to west and incorporates many of NYCs tourist destinations. The really busy section is either side of Times Square and includes the so called theatre row where many of the Broadway theatres are situated and is worth...More

42nd Street is not exactly a tourist destination by itself but rather a part of NYC. It's a main crossroad in Midtown. The area near 8th Avenue is especially busy with the Port Authority bus terminal and being just a few blocks from Times Square....More

Do not come here if you hate crowds. Tourists galore. Most popular place for tourists to visit as Broadway is here, several attractions like Madame Toussads, Hershey Choc Store, M&M world, etc.

42nd street is the heart of midtown and the street that I take all out-of-towners to. This is home to theaters, museums, and all the good (and the bad) that NYC has to offer. It is ridiculously crowded and bright, but that's exactly what a...More

I would say depends on how long you have in NY - how flexible you are on the show and time/date you want. Good luck you will love it.
