A must see while in San Francisco! Drive through the Presidio for gorgeous views, walking trails, and plenty of spaces to park. You can access the bridge from there.

Couldn't understand why people packed the bridge itself. There are several viewing spots in the nearby park. Most spots have chain link over them so pictures have to be taken in between the squares at most spots and people are photo-bombing your pics too.

I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge in a tour bus and also on my own. Pretty cool bridge with a long history. On the Oakland side you can stop and take in the views from a small park there.

The Golden Gate Bridge never ceases to amaze. Even Karl the Fog stayed away so that we were able to take in the view!

One of the most impressive man made structures on earth. However one only needs up to 30 mins for photos and to walk up to the start of the bridge

You may get the sunset over the GG Bridge from inside the Bay. I don't think you want to try to get to the Marin Headlands to try to see the sunrise. But Crissy field does have plenty of handicapped access since it's a... More
