It took us 28 min up with a few photo breaks and 22 min down. Plenty of switch backs but the trail is well maintained. Be ready to climb around 60 stories according to my app

My son and I tried this trail. It's a beautiful area and if you reach the top there's quite a lookout. We did not reach the top this time around. It was wet and for children on the younger side I felt like it was...More

Did this hike with our 6 kids, ages 10 and under ( as well as other family members) very do-able for little kids. Did use a baby carrier for the 2 year old. Took us about 30- 35 minutes at a 4 year olds pace....More

At times, this 1-mile hike to the top of Beacon Rock felt like climbing a fire escape attached to a mountain, but the views are worth it. Many of the hikes along the Columbia River Gorge are closed due to the Eagle Creek Fire in...More

We came a bit late. The sun was still shining and we decided to go up the Beacon Rock. It is interesting that there is only one big rock. It wasn't hard to climb. The path was very easy. Some people did not like the...More

If you can do this hike in good weather you will have amazing views. I would imagine it can become very busy in high season. Easy ascent to 850ft above sea level on a zigzag path. You need a $10 day pass to visit Washington...More
