We visited Charleston for a wedding. We were thinking of walking across the bridge, but the weather was horrible. Still we drove over the bridge from Charleston to Mount Pleasant and was impresionant. I highly recomend it.

Very scenic bridge that looks totally different when illuminated at night. It connects Charleston and Mount Pleasant and seaborn traffic passes under it.

It's a great place to enjoy your cardio, but it can get a little crowded with "trendy". Great view of Charleston. Parking has gotten much friendlier. Well-lit. Crowded enough that you should feel fairly safe. As a tourist attraction, let's call it a three...drive across...More

The bridge has a nice pedestrian walkway with a beautiful view. If you start from the Mt. Pleasant side, there is a gas station near the beginning of the bridge that has ample parking.

Not only is this bridge cool to look at, but it also has bike/pedestrian access for amazing sunset photos too. Access to the bike path from the Mt Pleasant side can be found from the Mt Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.

Occasionally we will get together and run over the bridge. The pedestrian path on the bridge is awesome.

Wonderful day. If you like to bike, this is an easy and beautiful day. Across the bridge, to Shem creek, then into Old Village through the neighborhoods, and out to Sullivans’s island, riding the board walk tomthe beach, a stop for lunch, Ft. Moultrie, and...More

Beautiful to look at, impressive to drive over, and I love the fact that it has a well-used pedestrian path along one side.

Beautiful architecture. We stayed at Patriots Point and went across the bridge frequently. No traffic issues and the views were gorgeous.

Its quite an impressive architectual work of art and you should see it lit at night. Saw many people walking or riding bikes on it.

The bridge did light up at night with a slight amber colored lights. We crossed the bridge at night several times & it was lit each night. 10-12 thru 10-14.
