Well worth the hike up the hill to get this great view. Also worth continuing down to the beach, but be warned that this section is steeper and you will need to walk back up!

This walk wouldn't be too hard to younger fit people, unfortunately that doesn't quite describe me! My 9 year old son declared it looked "exciting and tiring" and at the end said it was "only exciting" - he wasn't tired at all. I had to...More

Be sure to get your national park pass at the visitors center, the staff are very helpful. The walk up to the look out is well set out with a quite a few steps but they are well maintained. The view is worth the walk

Must do. One to one and half hour walk there and back. The view is worth the walk and it isn’t too hard.

The walk up to the lookout has some artistic features along the way. The path is artistic in parts with the way the stone and steps have been laid. There are plenty of seats along the way to rest and take in the view. The...More

My husband and I completed the walk to the lookout yesterday. I’m not particularly fit so I found the incline challenging but got through it. The view was beautiful at the look out. We walked earlier in the day (before 11am) and the lookout was...More

It may be that I misread the information but I was expecting there to be 800 steps up to the lookout. In fact, the path was very well made and there were probably 50ish steps to the lookout so quite ok for someone mobile who...More

I agree with the other comments. Safe to carry a baby, and there are places to rest. Also look at doing the boat trip to Wineglass Bay, well worth it!
