The Barron falls is seen on your way from Cairns to Kuranda village while you travel by the sky rail. You have an excellent view from your gondola. You can take good pictures of the falls and the Barron gorge from the glass bottomed walkway near the view point.

I can only imagine how stunning these falls would be after rain. We decided to save significant dollars and drive to the falls carpark and take the easy ten minute walk to the viewing platform. Not much water at the moment but still a beautiful spot. saw plenty of butterflies
