I volunteered for Cheetah Outreach for 2 months in the Spring of 2019 and I haven’t got a bad word to say about the organisation. All of the animals here are loved and treated well and play such an important role in the plight of...More

We had the opportunity to interact with baby cheetahs as well as adults at the centre. Because they work around the animals, not forcing them to do anything, it took a while before we could go to the adult cheetah enclosure. This showed concern for...More

Went to the place with lot of expectations. Not what I personally thought would be. Purchased the adult Cheetah petting with my son. It was a 3-4 min petting with an adult Cheetah and the volunteers seemed to be overcautious with everything. The Cheetahs looked...More

Lovely place, the care shown to the animals is apparent from the minute you step in, you can actually go into the enclosure and stroke the Cheetahs, but what I liked is they are not forced to accept people into there enclosure, it is taken...More

What a fantastic place - it aims to help cheetah conservation by educating farmers and providing them with trained dogs to protect their livestock and stop them snaring or shooting cheetahs. Volunteers were very helpful and informative - we had the free tour around the...More

On a cold windy day, we had a custom guided tour of the facilities. Most animals were hiding from he weather, but not the cheetahs! We walked into their fenced area and spent 5-10 minutes stroking its back and taking pictures. Our guide was German...More

This is a great program to help cheetah conservation - love that they are using dogs to give to farmers so they don’t shoot the cheetahs. Now - as a visitor - this place needs some improvement. No infuriation was given at front desk -...More

We really enjoyed Sebastian the meerkat. He definitely was the highlight. The adult cheetah encounter was really neat, but a little disappointing. The outreach does great work for these animals. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the trained herding dogs. The one thing that needs...More

Cheetah Outreach is unbelievable! We had to wait quite a while for the cheetah's to settle down before we were allowed to have time with them. We were given specific instructions and there were many staff members to explain everything to us about their wonderful...More

It's only 10 rand to get in and then you pay 175 rand to interact with an adult cheetah and 275 for the cubs. We did both and found the experience amazing. I think you can pay to interact with the meerkats on entry. They are... More
